Job Description



**GENERAL SUMMARY:**

Ready to make a real difference in people's lives? As our Registered Dietitian, you'll be the nutritional guru on our healthcare team! You'll partner with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver personalized nutrition magic—from comprehensive assessments and creative care planning to engaging counseling sessions and inspiring education programs. Think of yourself as a nutrition detective and wellness champion rolled into one, helping patients and families unlock their healthiest selves through the power of food and nutrition science.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:**

  • Conduct thorough nutritional assessments and develop personalized Nutrition Diagnoses that actually make a difference
  • Create and implement dynamic nutrition care plans tailored to each patient's unique needs and goals
  • Deliver engaging one-on-one counseling and nutrition education sessions that inspire positive lifestyle changes
  • Evaluate and celebrate patient outcomes, adjusting strategies to ensure continued success
  • Collaborate enthusiastically with the healthcare team to coordinate comprehensive patient care
  • Design and lead energizing nutrition education programs and seminars on topics that matter
  • Stay current with the latest nutrition science and best practices to bring cutting-edge expertise to your role
  • Build meaningful relationships with patients, families, and colleagues through excellent communication and genuine care

Qualifications



**EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:**

**Education:**

  • Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics or related field with completion of an ACEND-accredited Didactic Program in Dietetics (DPD) and supervised practice program (dietetic internship) is required.
  • Master's Degree is required for candidates whose initial registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) is effective on or after January 1, 2024.

**Licensure/Certification:**

  • Active Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential issued by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) is required.
  • Advanced Practice Certification is preferred.

**Required Competencies:**

  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English with demonstrated understanding of medical terminology.
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions and perform arithmetic calculations accurately.
  • Advanced computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with demonstrated ability to work effectively with medical, nursing, and other healthcare professionals, patients, and their families.

**Experience:**

  • One year of clinical experience as a Registered Dietitian in a healthcare setting is preferred.
