FRONT END ENGINEER SENIOR

MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT
As a Front End Engineer Senior, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of the customer. You will play a crucial role in enhancing section 508 accessibility of the current interface as well as redeveloping a new frontend to incorporate section 508 accessibility capabilities in a new user interface.
Role Responsibilities:
● Support multiple tools to include a high-performance geospatial collaboration tool that provides a single repository for formal and informal finished products and a system for mission-critical published intelligence reports used by the Intelligence Community and partners around the world.
● Collaborate with top tier teams
● Drive 508 accessibility of the current interfaces as well as redeveloping a new frontend to incorporate section 508 accessibility capabilities in a new user interface.
● Security clearance level: Active TS/SCI with Polygraph required
● US citizenship required
● Required Technical skills:
Java 8+
Understanding, maintaining, and troubleshooting interfaces between multiple applications
GWT
Angular
Primefaces
Quarkus
Advanced understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript
● Additional desired technical skills may include experience with:
Proficiency with screen readers
508/WAI-ARIA knowledge
Oracle
Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Agency reporting and dissemination tools
Agency classification policies
Working in an agile environment using JIRA and Confluence
